July 2018 saw 196 decisions made by adjudicators at London Tribunals. 104 times the decision went the way of the motorist which is a slightly above average 53%
There were a goodly number of interesting decisions:
Except for access (2180217798)
The Appellant was a skip hire company so it should have been easy for the council to verify the need for access.
Best not to entrap traffic wardens (2180221693)
Try not to do a 3 point turn on school entrance markings (218022130A)
School markings apply outside term times etc (2180224013)
Dropped kerb is shared but not the drive (2180234196)
Don't stop because of any stationary car in a yellow box (2180231223)
Don't reverse past no entry signs (2180225173)
Cloned - car was at the MOT centre! (2180216070)
The question is why in the face of such solid evidence did Barnet Council fight this Appeal? Hainault to Golders Green Bus Station in 25 minutes? absolutely not possible (not clear if the MOT test time was the start or the completion but either way the car was not in Barnet).
Council penalise their own contractor (2180240472)
These decisions, and the overall success rate, must have given you the idea that making an Appeal to the tribunal is well worth a go.
Yours appealingly
Miss Feezance
